A Journey By Bus

After two-week-long examinations, I was totally exhausted of studying. Burning the midnight oils every nights fortnight ago was just to gain my desired results. But every thing was over. I breathed a sigh of relief. Thus, I had decided to have an end-of-year trip with my fellow peers. Within minutes, they agreed unanimously and started to prepare and confirmed the needed things and tourism company. Ultimately, everything went on without a hitch.

And, our destination is Malacca, a place filled with historical aroma.

"Here we go," shouted the bus driver, who is an experienced 35-year-old man with long dark beard. Occasionally, nervousness gripped him as our crazy shouting of overjoyed filled the air. No matter how, the bus driver had some fun-filled moments with us.

I knew a tiring journey by bus might be so boring and uncomfortable. But, my excitements filled my entire soul. I did feel able to witness many magnificent sceneries along the nine-hour journey. Even the rustling of leaves, the pattering of rain and the zooming of fast vehicles, I remembered vividly.

Looking outside through the bus windows, I saw the yellowed leaves dropped down and shattered into a million pieces along the winding road. It seemed to be autumn days. And, there were no more nests in the trees. Maybe the birds felt the feelings of insecurity without the leaves! All of a sudden, the bus became stationary. In fact, it's a tea break! I alighted from the bus and inhaled the fresh air. Wow, it's incredible! The sound of the trees rustling in the breeze was unpredictable as its loud rustle shattered the tranquility of the surrounding.

Rain seemed to be poured down in sheet. We were all getting on the bus in alarm. In just a split second, rain pattered against the windows. The waters seemed to be my glistening tears blurred my vision. The heavy down pour took time about half an hour. After the rainy day, the world became cleaner and fresher. At that moment, everyone in bus was still half asleep, but me. I could hear the frogs croaking and the birds chirping. Then, the seven-coloured rainbow appeared in the sky. There was a picturesque scenery indeed.

After that, we passed a city. I started to hear the zooming of vehicles. The city was developed tremendously, like Kuala Lumpur, but not. And I knew, the government was encouraging the developments of remote areas in Malaysia. So, there are no more villages in future! So, we will lost the greenery, seriously.

Why? My destination was too far away. What was the time when I arrived at Malacca? But, it's never mind! Owing to the thrilling moments of myself, everything was valuable.
